Founders Park Plaza

Founders Park Plaza along Rapid Creek in Rapid City, South Dakota, will mark the spot where the Founding Party camped in 1876. The Plaza will honor Rapid City Founders and Pioneers and educate the public and visitors about the first 50 years of Rapid City’s history. It will be an attractive outdoor downtown destination enhancing our historical focus.
